Fire at the Simple Way June 22, 2007

I have been tremendously blessed by Shane Claiborne and the community at theSimpleWay. Their story, their faith, the manner in which they do life together with each other has proven to be an examplar in my own life and I love them for that.
It saddens me to see this happen, but I heard yesterday that a 7-alarm fire consumed one of the buildings they used and at least 8 other buildings were affected. If you’ve read Shane’s book, you know that their community really is trying to live the Simple Way of Jesus. Please consider giving a DONATION to help restore their current facilities.
