Learner Chronicle – part7 – Reflection

My learner chronicle was a slow progression that took nearly fifteen years for its realization until this point. My journey started as a child nurtured by my family and the church. It continued through my adolescence as I went through a period of crisis and questing. This culminated into a major milestone as I was baptized, a symbolic learning moment. My university learning was affirmed by an authentic community where honest questions were welcomed and resulted in a deepening of my beliefs and learning. I also began to actively teach through small groups and workshop settings. Lastly, my current approaches in learning and teaching have become more communal as the teacher learns alongside the student. It has been adaptive to newer methods and technology that enhance learning. Truly, my development as a teacher and learner is just beginning.
